Draft Skelmersdale Town Centre SPD/ Masterplan – your chance to comment
The draft SPD/ Masterplan sets out a framework for the regeneration of Skelmersdale Town Centre. It contains exciting proposals for new community and leisure facilities (including a new library, sports and leisure centre and college), new shops and offices and further housing development.
To make comments on the draft SPD/ Masterplan, you are required to log in or register. This can be done at the Consultation Homepage, or by clicking here. Please note that government regulations require us to make all submitted comments to be viewable by members of the public, so please be aware that your name and comments will be displayed on this website. To make a comment on a section of the draft SPD/ Masterplan, click on the “Add Comment” button and enter your comments on the form provided. Once you have made your comments, you can either: submit them to us, save and come back to them at a later time, or cancel if you are not happy with what you have entered. The deadline for comments is 5 pm on 24th April 2008.
If you wish to find out more about the draft SPD/ Masterplan, we would encourage you to attend the exhibitions we are holding in the Concourse on 27th, 28th, 29th March between 11 am and 4 pm, and on 31st March to 4th April between 12 noon and 2pm. For those of you who prefer to see hard copies of the draft SPD/ Masterplan, you can view them at the Customer Service Point in the Concourse, the Ecumenical Centre, Skelmersdale Library, local Post Offices and the Council Offices on Derby Street, Ormskirk.
